InterAct was asked by Cabdulqadir Seeraar, very active member of the Somalian NGO, SweSom, to work on an integration project together. After what felt like thousands of hour planning and writing a proposal we landed project money from the county administrative board (Länsstyrelsen). Now the work begins with establishing newly arrived Somalians. Here are pictures of some of the participants from our kick-off. We create an open meeting space for the whole family. Every Friday night newcomers can connect with established country men and swedes. InterAct is given the wonderful task of giving workshops about the Swedish society and intercultural competence.
