Happy to be back in Alingsås! With the project Cultural Meetings we held a workshop for the fantastic Alingsås Handball Clubb (AHK) in the spring of 2016. Since we were there last time, the integration project has grown and we are today hosting a Cultural Meeting workshop for more than 50 people from at least 8 countries. In the workshop A-team players are meeting and Alingsåsers with different backgrounds. Our contribution was to facilitate new meetings and to introduce the basics of intercultural competence. There were many exciting and engaging conversations about “Swedishness”, when we feel welcomed and discussion of ideas of how to create more integration in Alingsås. Go AHK and go all people who are fighting to learn Swedish and get their first job in Sweden! Thanks for your energy and for working on making Alinsås a better place for all.
