Many training programs on diversity are about discrimination law, equal treatment plans and other strategies to implement diversity. At InterAct we find this both good and necessary, but unfortunately not enough. Therefore our focus is on how to practice diversity and inclusion in daily work. We deepen knowledge and skills in how we build cooperation between differences in the workplace in a playful way. Also, we challenge the unconscious bias that most of us have and create awareness that being similar is not always the best.
Through easy exercises for group development, we also help co-workers to see individual differences in behavior and values and how that can be used to strengthen the group and improve the result. Our participants appreciate that we go the extra mile and not only teach the theory but also give them the opportunity to practice tangible techniques. This allows them to handle workplace discrimination when and where real-life situations arise.
Yes, we believe that the best results are achieved by combining new knowledge and skills. So, through our specialized interactive methods, our participants learn how to understand each other better and enhance their communication skills both in theory and practice. In this way, they can create a setting to work, where mistakes are harmless and differences are valued and respectful.
